That’s $13 billion to pay toward rent, mortgage, utilities and groceries. That’s $13 billion to repair a car or purchase a car providing reliable transportation. That’s $13 billion that could go toward education, starting a business or buying a house. There might even be enough to go to a movie, out to a dinner, or whatever else would feel like a reward. Well, it’s not a reward, you earned it!
Some people who are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit do not claim it because they do not know about it. Others, think they are not eligible when, in fact they are.
