Enrollment & Eligibility
Head Start serves children ages 3 or 4 years of age by September 1 of the school year who are income eligible or who have special needs.

Families receiving MFIP assistance are automatically qualified regardless of income.
Families with a child under the age of 18 who is receiving SSI are automatically qualified regardless of income.

Any child in Foster Care or living in a homeless shelter is automatically qualified for Head Start regardless of income.
