MAC is a supplemental, not a total food program. You can take the money you save from not having to buy these kinds of foods and use it to buy other foods needed for a balanced intake. As a suggestion, some of these other foods can be fresh or frozen fruit and vegetables, cheese, yogurt, bread, tortillas, or meat and fish.
